Born Halloween of 1987 in a town just north of Chicago, Illinois USA, Jeremy Mumenthaler grew up aspiring to be an architect and artist. He worked many years through middle school and high school for his fathers custom countertop fabrication shop in Antioch Illinois.1 A jack of all trades, Jeremy has worked in restaurant, retail, carpentry, janitorial, newspaper pre-press, graphic design, web design, commodities and freelance just about everything.
In 2002 he started racing snowmobiles in the WPSA Snocross Series2. By 2006 he had won a regional championship and moved on to WPSA Semi-Professional National Series. After graduation high-school, he made the tough decision and pursued design school at Columbia College over racing.
Spring of 2007 he joined to reformation of the Chicago band Meqqa playing bass guitar. After recording the album "Map to Chrysalis"3, Meqqa has been showcasing for labels at such venues as Chicago's House of Blues.4.
In late 2007 along with Michael Koester, Jeremy formed the music group glittermouse, a rock experiment out to push the limits of music. Jeremy has played in other groups including "Matthew Lyons" and the short lived "Soft Soft Silver Bang" as well as multiple solo projects playing bass guitar.
Over the past few years, Jeremy has attained the fundamentals of design through school, exploration and freelance work. He started his design career in a darkroom at an advertising newspaper and has been continually moving forward to learn from the ground up. He has used the skills he acquired in the print world to build a sturdy foundation for the web world. He aspires to become a leader in web design and graphic innovation.
